Forever Blossoms Wedding Card - Created in 10 Steps
My card today is simple - it only took me a few minutes to put it all together! Planning on making a dozen or so more in various colors for my stockpile!
My Stampin' Up! Color Fusion for today is Basic Black, Magenta Madness and Silver.
I used the following cuts of cardstock:
Magenta Madness: 8½" x 5½", scored at 4¼"
Basic Black: 2¼" x 1¼"
I also used the following stamps and/or dies:
Forever Blossoms stamp set: apple blossom branch
Forever Blossoms stamp set: "Wishing you a long life together filled with love and promise" sentiment stamp
Tasteful Labels dies: 2⅛" x 1½"
Trim a piece of Magenta Madness cardstock to 8½" x 5½" and score at 4¼"
Use your bone folder to get a nice crisp fold in your card base
Trim a piece of Basic Black cardstock to 2¼" x 1¼" (feel free to use scraps - this will be die cut)
Die cut the 2⅛" x 1½" die from the Tasteful Labels die set on your piece of Basic Black cardstock using your Big Shot (or equivalent - I was able to get the new Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine on pre-order and I absolutely love it! It will be available for purchase starting September 1st)
Stamp your “wishing you a long life together filled with love and promise” sentiment from the Forever Blossoms stamp set in Versamark ink
Cover your stamped sentiment with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat set with your heat tool
Stamp the large blossoms stamp from the Forever Blossoms stamp set in Versamark ink so the blossoms cover most of your card base (I stamped the image from the bottom left, then the top right and a partial image from the top of the stamp in the bottom right of the card base)
Cover your stamped images in Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat set with your heat tool
Color in the flowers from your silver embossed images with your white chalk marker
Apply 4-5 black Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of your Basic Black sentiment label and adhere in the top left corner of your card base, approximately ¼" from the top and left sides
