How To: Stamp a Mirror Image
Today's post is a video that I made showing how to simply and easily create a stamped mirrored image using just the Stampin' Up! Stamparatus and the Silicone Craft Sheet.
I am demonstrating this using the Zany Zebras stamp set because I absolutely love the fun loving Zebra stamps in this set!
Note: I know I saw this technique somewhere in a YouTube video I found via Pinterest about a year ago? I have waaay to many pins because I can't find it now. If someone can point me back to it so I can give credit, that would be great!
Directions:
Get out your Stamparatus, Silicone Craft Sheet, Ink Pad, stamp that you wish to mirror and cardstock to stamp on to
Place your cardstock in your Stamparatus and place your stamp where you wish to stamp it onto your cardstock
Close the Stamparatus so your stamp adheres to the stamparatus
Open it back up and ink up your stamp
Close your Stamparatus to apply the ink to your cardstock
Open it back up and replace your cardstock with the Silicone Craft Sheet
Ink up your image again and stamp onto your Silicone Craft Sheet (repeat twice - we want to be sure we get a nice crisp image when we transfer the ink to the cardstock)
Take your Silicone Craft Sheet out of your Stamparatus and flip it over so the ink side is down
Hover it over your cardstock with your first stamped image - you will find that the silicone is somewhat see-through as you bring the sheet closer to your cardstock
Find the area where you want the mirror image stamp to be and lay the Silicone Craft Sheet down on your cardstock
Use a clear stamp block, roughly the size of your stamp, to gently press down on the silicone to transfer the ink to the cardstock
Gently lift the Silicone Craft Sheet away from your cardstock and viola! you have a beautiful, crisp stamped mirror image

Check back tomorrow to see the card I made with these zany characters!
