Peaceful Moments Bundle Handmade Congratulations Card
My card today has a nice pop of color and features the Stampin' Up Peaceful Moments bundle (#153824) as well as the Scripty 3D embossing folder (love that folder - so versatile!)

The colors featured in today's card are Blackberry Bliss, Flirty Flamingo and Granny Apple Green.

I used the following cuts of cardstock:
Whisper White (thick - card base): 8½” x 5½”, scored at 4¼”
Blackberry Bliss: 5¼” x 4"
Vellum: 5" x 3¾
Blackberry Bliss (sentiment mat): 5¼” x 1"
Whisper White (sentiment): 5¼” x ⅝"
I also used the following stamps and die cuts from the matching sets:
Peaceful Moments cling stamp set:
"Congratulations" cling stamp
Poppy Moments die set:
Large full poppy die in Flirty Flamingo cardstock
Large poppy intricate overlay die in Blackberry Bliss cardstock
Small full poppy die in Flirty Flamingo cardstock
Small poppy intricate overlay die in Blackberry Bliss cardstock
Large single leaf die in Granny Apple Green cardstock
Large leaf overlay die in Granny Apple Green cardstock
Leaf sprig die in Granny Apple Green cardstock
Leaf spring overlay die in Granny Apple Green cardstock
Directions:
Use your paper trimmer to cut your Whisper White (thick) cardstock card base to 8½” x 5½” and score at 4¼” using your bone folder
Cut your Blackberry Bliss cardstock to 5¼” x 4" and another strip of Blackberry Bliss cardstock to 5¼” x 1" (check your scraps!)
Cut your Vellum to 5" x 3¾
Then cut your Whisper White for your sentiment to 5¼” x ⅝" (check your scraps!)
Once you have all your regular cuts done, move on to your die cuts. Cut out one large and one small solid poppy from the die set in Flirty Flamingo cardstock
Then, cut out one large and one small intricate poppy overlay to match in Blackberry Bliss cardstock
Grab your leaf sprig (solid and overlay) and your large leaf (solid and overlay) dies and cut them out using Granny Apple Green cardstock (check your scraps!)
Insert your Vellum into the Scripty 3D embossing folder and run it through your Big Shot (or equivalent)
Get out your Blackberry Bliss classic Stampin' pad and stamp the "Congratulations" sentiment centered on your Whisper White strip
We want the leaf overlays to pop a little so take out your light Granny Apply Green Stampin' Blends marker and lightly color over the overlays to just slightly darken them
Now it's time to put all the pieces together! Start by applying glue with your fine tip glue pen to the back of the intricate poppy overlays and glue them down to the solid Flirty Flamingo poppy base
Then, still using your fine tip glue pen, adhere the leaf overlays to the solid leaf bases as well
Apply Stampin' Seal to the back of your Blackberry Bliss cardstock (5¼” x 4") and adhere, centered, onto your Whisper White card base
Apply a strip of Stampin' Seal to the back of your embossed Vellum approximately 1½” from the bottom, horizontally across the length. This will hide the adhesive and keep if from showing through because you will be covering that area with your sentiment strip
Apply multipurpose glue to the back of the leaf sprig die cut and apply to the top area of the card, to the right - leave enough space to add your large poppy die cut to the left!
Apply Stampin' Seal+ to the back of the large poppy die cut and adhere down in the top left hand corner of your card (as shown in image)
Add Stampin' Seal to the back of your Whisper White sentiment strip and adhere to your Blackberry Bliss strip
Apply Stampin' Dimensionals to the back of your sentiment strip and adhere down, approximately 1¼” from the bottom of the card base
Apply multipurpose glue to the back of the large die cut leaf and glue down (see image)
Apply a couple of Stampin' Dimensionals to the bottom of your small poppy die cut and a little Stampin' Seal to the top and adhere your small poppy die cut in the bottom right hand corner of the card base, slightly over the large leaf and the sentiment strip (as shown in image)
To give the flowers a little more pop, I used my Wink of Stella pen and colored over the centers of the poppies (see Close-up of die cut flower image below)
Then, as a finishing touch, I added a couple of basic Rhinestones using my Take Your Pick tool, one on either side of the sentiment
