Plaid Tidings Suite - Happy Haunting!

My card today is a simple one but I loved the colors so much in the Plaid Tidings designer series paper so much I couldn't resist making this! It only took about 5 minutes all together to cut the pieces and seal it altogether.

My Stampin' Up! Color Fusion for today is Basic Black, Mango Melody and Bumblebee.

I used the following cuts of cardstock:

  • Mango Melody: 8½" x 7", scored at 3½"

  • Basic Black: 8⅜"x 3⅜"

  • Plaid Tidings designer series paper: 3" x 3" (x2)

  • Mango Melody: 2¾" x 3"

  • Mango Melody: 3" x 2" (this will be die cut with the label so check scraps!)

  • Basic Black: 2½" x 3"

I also used the following stamps and/or dies:

  • Celebration Tidings stamp set: "Happy Haunting" sentiment

  • Celebration Labels die set: 2⅝" x 1⅝" label

Directions:

  1. Trim a piece of Mango Melody cardstock to 8½" x 7" and score at 3½"

  2. Use your bone folder to get a nice crisp fold in your card base

  3. Trim a piece of Basic Black cardstock to 8⅜"x 3⅜"

  4. Trim 2 pieces of Plaid Tidings designer series paper in Bumblebee, Mango Melody and Black to 3" x 3"

  5. Trim a piece of Mango Melody cardstock to 2¾" x 3"

  6. Trim a piece of Basic Black cardstock to 2½" x 3"

  7. Trim a piece of Mango Melody cardstock to 3" x 2" (this will be used to die cut a label from the Celebration Labels die set so check your stash!)

  8. Die cut the 2⅝" x 1⅝" label from the Celebration Labels die set on your piece of 3" x 2" Mango Melody cardstock

  9. Using the “Happy Haunting” sentiment stamp from the Celebration Tidings stamp set, stamp in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on your die cut Mango Melody label

  10. Apply Stampin’ Seal to the back of your large piece of Basic Black cardstock and adhere down, centered, on your Mango Melody card base

  11. Apply Stampin’ Seal on the back of your designer series paper and adhere it down, centered top, on your Basic Black cardstock on your card base

  12. Apply Stampin’ Seal on the back of your second piece of designer series paper and adhere it down, centered bottom, on your Basic Black on your card base

  13. Apply Stampin’ Seal to the back of your die cut stamped sentiment label and adhere it down, centered, on your small piece of Basic Black cardstock

  14. Apply Stampin’ Seal to the back of your small piece of Basic Black cardstock and adhere it down, centered, on your small piece of Mango Melody cardstock

  15. Apply 4-5 Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of your small Mango Melody cardstock with your sentiment and adhere it down, centered vertically, over your designer series paper
