Playing with Patterns Use Your Scraps "Let's Celebrate You"
Today's card showcases a great way to use up some of your paper scraps - I used scraps from the Playing with Patterns designer series paper but you could use this for almost any paper scraps really.

My Stampin' Up! Color Fusion for today is Night of Navy, Purple Posy and Crushed Curry.

I used the following cuts of cardstock:
Night of Navy: 8½" x 5½", scored at 4¼"
Whisper White: 5¼" x 4"
Silver foil: 4" x 1"
Night of Navy: 4" x ¾"
Whisper White: 4" x ½"
Large Polka Dot Playing with Patterns Designer Series Paper: 4" x 1"
Playing with Patterns scrap pieces: assorted scraps measuring ¼" x 3" to ¾ x 3" (I used 9 total pieces)
I also used the following stamps and/or dies:
Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set: "Let's Celebrate You" sentiment stamp
Banner Pick a Punch
Directions:
Trim a piece of Night of Navy cardstock 8½" x 5½" and score at 4¼"
Use your bone folder to get a nice, crisp fold in your card base
Trim a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 5¼" x 4"
Trim a piece of Silver Foil sheets to 4" x 1"
Trim a piece of Night of Navy cardstock to 4" x ¾"
Trim a piece of Whisper White to 4" x ½"
Trim a piece of large multi-colored polka dot cardstock from the Playing with Patterns designer series paper to 4“ x 1“
Cut 9 assorted pieces of Playing with Patterns designer series paper and trim with your Banner pick a punch (I used various widths of half an inch to 1” scraps that I had)
Use various coordinating colors of Stampin’ Write markers to draw stitches along the banner pieces that you have cut (I used Night of Navy, Purple Posy, Misty Moonlight and Crushed Curry)
Apply Stampin’ Seal to your 5¼" x 4" piece of Whisper White and adhere, centered, over your Night of Navy card base
Apply a small amount of Stampin’ Seal to the top non-punched edge of your banner pieces and adhere down, angled, under where your sentiment will go (see image for further details)
Stamp the “let’s celebrate you” sentiment stamp from the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set in Night of Navy ink, centered, on your 4“ x 1“ strip of Whisper White cardstock
Apply Stampin’ Seal to the back of your Whisper White sentiment strip and adhere down, centered, over your Night of Navy cardstock strip
Apply Stampin’ Seal to the back of your Night of Navy cardstock and adhere down, centered, over your Silver Foil
Apply Stampin’ Seal to the back of your 4“ x 1“ polkadots strip and adhere down over the top of your Whisper White cardstock on your card base, lining the top left and right corners together so the Whisper White cardstock does not show in the top corners
Apply Stampin’ Seal to the back of your Silver foil strip and cover the top edges of your banner strips with your sentiment
