Simple Thank You Card with Tasteful Touches & Peaceful Moments

I seem to be gravitating towards more simplistic cards lately and today's card is no exception.

The main color is Night of Navy and the feathers are stamped in Petal Pink and Crumb Cake. Overall, I love this color combination!

I used the following cuts of cardstock:

  • Whisper White (thick): 8½" x 5½", scored at 4¼"

  • Night of Navy: 3¼" x 4½"

  • Whisper White: 2½" x 3½"

I also used the following stamps:

  • Feather stamp from the Tasteful Touches stamp set

  • "Thank You" sentiment stamp from the Peaceful Moments stamp set

  1. Start by trimming your Whisper White (thick) cardstock to 8½" x 5½" and score at 4¼"

  2. Fold at your score line and use your bone folder to get a nice, crisp fold in your card base

  3. Cut your Night of Navy cardstock to 3¼" x 4½"

  4. Cut your Whisper White cardstock to 2½" x 3½"

  5. Place the cut piece of Night of Navy cardstock inside your Old World Paper 3D embossing folder and run through your Big Shot (or equivalent)

  6. Using your Clear Block D stamping block, stamp the feather image in Crumb Cake ink in the center of your Whisper White 2½" x 3½" trimmed cardstock

  7. Clean your feather stamp and then ink up in Petal Pink, stamping on either side of the Crumb Cake feather

  8. Ink up your "Thank You" sentiment in Night of Navy ink and stamp at the top of your Whisper White, centered

  9. Cut a 6" strip of Denim ribbon and tie around the bottom of your Whisper White stamped piece of cardstock, right the base of your stamped feathers - finish it off by tying in a knot in the center

  10. Apply Stampin' Seal to the back of the embossed Night of Navy piece of cardstock and adhere to your Whisper White (thick) card base, angled as shown in the image

  11. Add Stampin' Seal to the back of the stamped Whisper White cardstock and adhere, centered over the embossed Night of Navy cardstock

  12. The last step is to use the corner rounder that is part of the Detailed Trio punch on the right corners of your card base
