Smile for Daisy Lane!
I wanted a simple card to cheer up a friend and she loves daisies so I came up with this. It was quick and easy - only took about 5 minutes to put together.
The card base is Very Vanilla thick cardstock with a piece of Blackberry Bliss cut to 5x3¾ and run through with the Subtle embossing folder to give it a little dimension.
I then stamped the smaller daisy from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Rococo Rose ink on Rococo Rose cardstock and cut them out using the medium daisy punch. Then I adhered them together using mini glue dots. To finish to flowers off, I used some of the larger frosted enamel dots as a flower center.
I wrapped the linen thread around the blackberry bliss cardstock a few times and then used my snail adhesive to attach it to the very vanilla base. Using more glue dots, I adhered the daisies over the linen thread slightly towards the top of the card.
I chose a simple sentiment, "Smile", and stamped it using blackberry bliss ink on very vanilla and adhered it to complete the card. Quick, simple and easy to make and brought an instant smile to my friend's face.
