Super Simple Birthday Card - Complete in Just 5 Minutes!

I wanted to show how easy it can be to put together a card, even if you are a beginner stamper! This card took approximately 5 minutes to put together and you can do it too!

My Stampin' Up! Color Fusion for today is Soft Suede, Bumblebee and Very Vanilla.

I used the following cuts of cardstock:

  • Bumblebee: 8½" x 5½", scored at 4¼"

  • Soft Suede: 4 x 5¼"

  • Flowers for Every Season Designer Series Paper - Bumblebee with mini flowers: 3⅞" x 5⅛"

  • Gold Foil Sheets: 3⅞" x ¾"

  • Very Vanilla: 3⅞" x ⅝"

I also used the following stamp:

  • Itty Bitty Birthdays: "Happy Birthday"

  1. Trim your Bumblebee cardstock to 8½" x 5½" and score at 4¼"

  2. Use your bone folder to get a nice crisp fold in your card base

  3. Trim your Soft Suede cardstock to 4" x 5¼"

  4. Find the Flowers for Every Season designer series paper with the Bumblebee background and small flowers then trim to 3⅞" x 5⅛"

  5. Trim your Gold Foil to 3⅞" x ¾"

  6. Then trim a piece of Very Vanilla card stock to 3⅞" x ⅝" (remember to check your scraps!)

  7. Cut two pieces of your Bumblebee gingham ribbon to 3½" long

  8. Use your Soft Suede ink pad to stamp the "Happy Birthday" sentiment from the Itty-Bitty Birthdays stamp set onto the center of your Very Vanilla cardstock

  9. Tie your two pieces of ribbon into two small bows

  10. Apply Stampin' Seal on the back of your Soft Suede cardstock and adhere down centered over your Bumblebee card base

  11. Apply Stampin' Seal on the back of your designer series paper and adhere down centered over your Soft Suede cardstock

  12. Apply Stampin' Seal to the back of your Very Vanilla sentiment strip and center over the piece of Gold Foil

  13. Apply 3-4 Stampin' Dimensionals to the back of your Gold Foil sentiment strip and adhere down approximately 1¾" from the bottom of your cardbase

  14. Apply a glue dot to the back of the knot on your bows and adhere down on either side of your sentiment strip

See how quick and easy that was!
