To The Best Friend A Girl Could Ever Ask For Handmade Card
Who doesn't love paint splatter and hearts?!?! Today's card features both and came together very quickly. It could easily be redone in many color combinations and with many different sentiments.

My Stampin' Up! Color Fusion for today is Misty Moonlight, Bumblebee and Soft Suede.

I used the following cuts of cardstock:
Whisper White (thick): 8½" x 5½", scored at 4¼"
Soft Suede: 4" x ¾"
I also used the following stamps and/or dies:
Be Mine Stitched Dies: 3½" x 2¾" stitched heart
Be Mine Stitched Dies: 3⅛" x 2½" heart (fits inside the stitched heart)
Be Mine Stitched Dies: 1¾" x 1½" heart
Meant to Be Stamp Set: "To the best friend a girl could ever ask for" sentiment
Directions:
Start by trimming a piece of Whisper White (thick) cardstock to 8½" x 5½" and score at 4¼"
Use your bone folder to get a nice crisp fold in your card base so your card will lie flat
Trim a piece of Soft Suede cardstock to 4" x ¾" (check your scraps!)
Place the 3½" x 2¾" stitched heart and the 3⅛" x 2½" heart (fits inside the stitched heart) on a piece of Bumblebee cardstock and run through your Big Shot (or equivalent)
Then, place the 3½" x 2¾" stitched heart on another piece of Bumblebee cardstock and run through your Big Shot (or equivalent)
Use the 1¾" x 1½" heart and die cut in Misty Moonlight cardstock (remember to check your scraps!)
Get out your Misty Moonlight, Bumblebee and Soft Suede Classic Stampin' Ink Pads and lightly press down on the top to transfer a small amount of ink to the inside top
Using a water painter brush, get a small amount of ink onto your brush with water and lightly flick the tips of the brush to get paint splatter on the front of your Whisper White card base - repeat for all three colors
Using a sponge dauber, get a small amount of Misty Moonlight ink and lightly blend from the bottom up on your 3½" x 2¾" stitched heart
Using Versamark ink, find your "To the best friend a girl could ever ask for" sentiment and stamp on the left side of your Soft Suede cardstock
Apply White Stampin' Emboss Powder over the Versamark ink and heat set using your heat tool
Use your fine tip glue pen on the back of your stitched heart frame and apply directly over your Bumblebee/Misty Moonlight heart
Add Stampin' Seal to the back of your large heart and adhere down, centered, approximately ¾" from the top
Add Stampin' Dimensionals to the back of your Misty Moonlight heart and adhere down over the right side of your large heart (see image for further details)
Add Stampin' Dimensionals to the back of your Soft Suede sentiment strip and adhere down on the left side of your card, centered (see image for further details)
To finish the card off, apply 3-4 Bumblebee 2020-20222 In-Color Enamel Dots
