Wildly Grateful Card with Stampin' Up! Products

I wanted a card that was bold and fun for a friend of mine who loves any and every shade of pink. It was so fun playing with the die cuts available from the Forever Flourishing die set, they can be used for so many purposes!

I was looking for a nice pop of color for her card and was delighted with how Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry and Magenta Madness came together!

I used the following cuts of cardstock:

  • Rich Razzleberry: 8½” x 5½”, scored at 4¼”

  • Whisper White: 3¾" x 5"

I also used the following stamps and die cuts from the matching sets:

  • "wildly grateful" from the Lovely You stamp set

  • The 2" stitched square from the Stitched Shapes die set

  • The large leaf sprig from the Forever Fern die set

  • The half laurel crown die from the Forever Fern die set

  1. Start by trimming your Rich Razzleberry cardstock to 8½” x 5½” and score at 4¼”

  2. Use your bone folder to get a nice crease for your card base fold so it lies flat

  3. Trim your Whisper White cardstock to 3¾" x 5"

  4. Die cut the large leaf sprig, 1 each in Rich Razzleberry and Melon Mambo

  5. Due cut the half laurel crown die cut, 1 each in Rich Razzleberry and Melon Mambo

  6. Take your Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo and Magenta Madness Classic Stampin' Ink Pads and, before opening them, gently press down on the lid so a small amount of ink transfers to the inside cover

  7. Using your Water Painters, get a little ink on your brush and gently flick the tip onto your Whisper White to create a splatter effect. Repeat with all three colors.

  8. Grab a scrap piece of water color paper (approximately 2½" x 2½") and, using your Water Painters, lightly brush on your 3 colors to create a watercolor ombre look (you could try using some Whisper White (thick) cardstock as well but be careful using water with this cardstock)

  9. Use your heat tool to dry the watercolors or wait until dry before moving on to the next step

  10. Use the 2⅛" stitched square die from the Stitched Shapes die set and die cut your watercolor paper at a diagonal so that the die becomes a diamond shape with the ombre effect being horizontal

  11. Use the "wildly grateful" sentiment stamp from the Lovely You stamp set and stamp in Memento Tuxedo Black ink in the center of your watercolor, die cut square

  12. Place Stampin' Seal on the back of your Whisper White cardstock and adhere down, centered, to your card base

  13. Place a couple of 1" strips of Stampin' Seal onto the middle of your Whisper White cardstock and adhere down your large die cut leaf sprigs with your Rich Razzleberry sprig pointing up and towards the right and your Melon Mambo pointing down and towards the left

  14. Apply 4-5 Stampin' Dimensionals to the back of your die cut stitched square and adhere down over your leaf sprigs, centered on your card base

  15. Using your fine tip glue pen, apply a small amount of glue at the center of your half laurel crown die cuts adhere down as shown in the image

  16. To complete my card, I added a few of the Magenta Madness 2020–2022 In Color Enamel Dots using my Take Your Pick tool
