Zany Zebras Handmade Card with Mirror Stamping
As promised after my post from yesterday, today's card uses a technique called mirror stamping to create a fun and happy card.

My Stampin' Up! Color Fusion for today is Basic Gray, Calypso Coral and Old Olive.

Cardstock Measurements:
Basic Gray: 11" x 4¼", scored at 5½"
Playing with Patterns designer series paper: 4" x 5¼"
Whisper White: 4¾" x 3¼"
Playing with Patterns designer series paper: 4¼" x ¾"
Whisper White: 3¼" x ½"
Whisper White: 2" x 2¼" (cut 2 or use scraps - this will be stamped with the zebra images and fussy cut)
Stamps, Dies, Punches and/or Embossing Folders Used:
Stitched Rectangles dies: 4½" x 3"
Zany Zebras stamp set: zebra looking over their shoulder stamp
Zany Zebras stamp set: "Kick up your heels!" sentiment stamp
Directions:
Trim a piece of Basic Gray cardstock to 11" x 4¼", scored at 5½"
Use your bone folder to get a nice crisp fold in your card base
Trim a piece of Calypso Coral polka dot Playing with Patterns designer series paper to 4" x 5¼"
Trim a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 4¾" x 3¼" (this will be used to die cut the blank stitched rectangle from the die set so check your scraps!)
Trim a piece of the same designer series paper to 4¼" x ¾" (check your scraps!)
Trim a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 3¼" x ½" (check your scraps!)
Either trim 2 pieces of Whisper White cardstock to 2" x 2¼" or find scraps that will work to stamp your zebras on
Using the 4½" x 3" Stitched Rectangle die, die cut using your Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine on your 4¾" x 3¼" piece of Whisper White cardstock
Using Basic Gray ink, stamp two of the zebra images from the stamp set
Stamp the "Kick up your heels!" sentiment on your 3¼" x ½" piece of Whisper White cardstock
Using your Banners Pick a Punch, punch both ends of your 4¼" x ¾" designer series paper and your 3¼" x ½" Whisper White sentiment strip
Using your Paper Snips, fussy cut out your your stamped zebra images
Cut a 7" strip of the Old Olive ribbon from the Ornate Garden ribbon combo pack
Apply Stampin' Seal to the back of your 4" x 5¼" designer series paper and adhere down, centered, on your Basic Gray card base
Apply Stampin' Seal to the back of your Whisper White die cut stitched rectangle and adhere down at an angle and centered over your designer series paper
Apply Stampin' Seal to the back of your Whisper White sentiment strip and adhere down over your 4¼" x ¾" designer series paper
Apply a small amount of Stampin' Seal or Stampin' Seal+ in the center of your stitched rectangle (make sure to do this at a bit of any angle to follow the angle of where we are going to place our sentiment strip) and adhere down your Old Olive ribbon (see image for details)
Apply 3-4 Stampin' Dimensionals to the back of your sentiment strip and adhere down, centered on your Whisper White die cut stitched rectangle
Apply 2-3 Stampin' Dimensionals on the backs of your zebras and adhere down, one in the top left corner and 1 in the bottom right corner
Dig out 2-3 of the Terracotta Tile sequins from the Woven Threads sequin assortment using your Take Your Pick tool
Apply a small amount of glue from your fine tip glue pen where you wish to place your sequins (I used mine to highlight my sentiment) and use your Take Your Pick tool to gently place the sequins
